My life was in freefall for a while. It started with the divorce, losing my parents and most recently, the loss of my job. Not having any luck finding a good job in my field, I had to take a job as a security guard to pay the bills. Not what I expected to be using a master's degree for, but hard times call for desperate measures. I was going to be a night watchman at a department store.
