I grew up in a small town where nothing really happened. It was a nice upbringing far away from the inner cities and their problems. My school was safe and since I was very young, I would walk to school by myself. My parents seldom locked the doors and on the weekends there were neighbourhood BBQ's. My friends and I would play street hockey outside our houses or football in a nearby park.
