The bike path follows along Clear Creek to Central City, Colorado. One of the tributaries flowing into Clear Creek had a ten-foot high waterfall located about a quarter mile inland, off the bike path. Due to a curve in the ravine leading to the waterfall, it was not visible until you rounded the bend in the ravine. There you saw a great place to picnic, along with a falls to cool off
